Small tax and accounting firm based in Stamford, CT, is looking for an independent, reliable, detail-oriented, self-starter to join the team as an Accountant/Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate is proficient with Quickbooks Online and has 2-3 years of general bookkeeping experience.
This is a remote position, 20-30 hours a week with some flexibility in working hours.
Qualifications:
- At least two years of bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Experience retrieving and summarizing reports from online retail payment processors like Square, Stripe, Shopify, PayPal, etc.
- Flexible and able to handle multiple priorities
- Proficient in MS Office and comfortability using Excel
- High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
