Small tax and accounting firm based in Stamford, CT, is looking for an independent, reliable, detail-oriented, self-starter to join the team as an Accountant/Bookkeeper. The ideal candidate is proficient with Quickbooks Online and has 2-3 years of general bookkeeping experience.

This is a remote position, 20-30 hours a week with some flexibility in working hours.

Qualifications:

  • At least two years of bookkeeping experience
  • Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
  • Experience retrieving and summarizing reports from online retail payment processors like Square, Stripe, Shopify, PayPal, etc.
  • Flexible and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortability using Excel
  • High degree of organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability
