We are delighted to partner with our client, a high-profile international company known for its prestigious brand of products and services. An outstanding opportunity has become available, for a highly motived and proactive individual to undertake the role of Reconciliation Officer on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant the Reconciliation Officer supports the business to reconcile transactions across the general ledger and sub-ledgers together with other key accounts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reconciliation of customer and supplier payments to ensure the accounting system reflects the correct transactions.

• General ledger reconciliations.

• Account reconciliations such as, inventory control, clearing, billings etc.

• Performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and journals.

• Assisting with end of month, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations.

• Assisting the Finance team with ad hoc financial tasks.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:

• Experience reconciling accounting figures and financial records.

• Ability to identify errors.

• Appropriate handling of sensitive information.

• Ability to work to deadlines.

• High level of attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong client relationship management and customer service skills.

• Team player with the ability to work with multiple parties.

• High level (intermediate to advance) computer software skills, in particular Microsoft Excel .

This is opportunity is available with an immediate start working a 38-hour week.
