You will work closely with the company’s hiring managers to provide an effective HR service, including making a crucial contribution to the achievements of business objectives.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Provide employment relations advice to managers and staff; case management of performance and conduct; apply knowledge of relevant common law, legislation, and awards to assist people managers with more complex queries; work with relevant business divisions to ensure the effective implementation and application of a range of relevant HR strategies, frameworks, policies, procedures, practices, in the context of a business partnership service delivery model; develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of current best practice HR initiatives to ensure that the company adopts innovative HR practices; analyse data trends and metrics to inform business decisions; mediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary and assist with other HR initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
To be a successful candidate for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and demonstrated Key Competencies: A relevant degree and demonstrated Human Resource experience; current in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources and employee management, including worker’s compensation, union relations, and federal and state employment laws; contemporary working knowledge of relevant industrial relations and employment frameworks; demonstrated leadership and influencing skills; proven ability to maintain and develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in a collaborative and partnering manner; excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop high level reports; demonstrated experience in effective conflict resolution with well-developed problem solving skills; and demonstrated experience in consulting, coaching, anticipating and tailoring style and approach to audience
