Assistant/Associate Lecturer to teach undergraduate courses beginning Fall Semester 2023. Responsibilities include teaching courses in mechanical and manufacturing engineering; advising undergraduate students; and providing professional service to the department, college, and institution.
Required: Master’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, engineering education or a closely related field by date of appointment. To be considered for the Associate rank, the candidate must have three or more years of full-time higher education teaching experience.
Consideration may be given to candidates with a PhD in mechanical or manufacturing engineering, engineering education or a closely related field by date of appointment and industry experience in design or manufacturing; experience advising student projects and teaching laboratory-based engineering courses; demonstrated experience in teaching and mentoring undergraduate students.
