Job Summary:
Assistant Teaching Professor in English to teach undergraduate professional writing, composition, and advanced writing courses; advise students; contribute to professional and institutional services. Position is not eligible for tenure and begins August 15, 2022.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ph.D. in English, Composition and Rhetoric, Technical Writing, or closely related field, by date of appointment. Experience in the teaching of writing in multiple modalities, exceptional pedagogical skills.
Desired Qualifications:
Consideration may be given to candidates who have experience in teaching Business Writing, First Year and Advanced Composition, Interactive Media Studies, and Technical Writing; ability and vision to help shape future curriculum in Professional Writing; experience teaching in multiple modalities, including online synchronous, asynchronous, and hybrid; ability to work well with others in a large, multidisciplinary department.
