MHP Group is Looking for Polisher and Beveler Full Time

General Responsibilities

· Keep production manager supervisor informed of day-to-day activity within department

· Verify all measurements provided on labels using a measuring tape are accurate

· Operate polishing and beveling machines in the building

· Ensure accurate materials are used

· Proper handling of glass and mirror

· Lift products manually or using the suction

· Ensure the quality of the product meets company’s expectations

· Ensure that equipment is kept in a clean manner before at all times

· Processing of necessary paperwork through all stages of production

· Maintains safe work practices by using all required safety equipment

· Comply with safety rules; report all accidents, incidents and potential hazards immediately

· Respond to any Health and Safety recommendations submitted by the JHSC

· Understand and comply with the worker responsibilities and rights as outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OH&S) of Ontario, as well as, the Company’s safety rules

· Assistance anywhere in warehouse when required

· Ensure PPE (personal protective equipment) is worn at all times

· Attend various training sessions as requested by employer

· All other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.73-$21.82 per hour
