MGP Hiring for Talent Acquisition Coordinator Job at Remote Full Time

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for sourcing, attracting and interviewing prospective employees for the company’s budgeted goals. This person will work directly with the human resource department and hiring managers to develop relationships and determine the various needs for departments companywide across all locations. They will help build strong pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
Recruitment:

• Develop long-term relationships within the organization and the community, including trade schools and universities and colleges, to assist recruiting process and hiring of apprentice and skilled trades.
• Identify, analyze and develop sourcing techniques to build pipelines of qualified candidates, sourcing from a variety of channels, including but not limited to networking, social media, internet, employee referrals, campus recruiting, industry events, etc.
• Continuous involvement in full life cycle recruitment as needed (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, onboarding, etc.). Understand requirements for each location and be able to step into the process when required.
• Complete hiring process within defined metrics to minimize overall time-to-start and report metrics on a dashboard.
• Ensure Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and social media (Facebook & LinkedIn) postings are current and relative to current needs. Maintain internal and external postings.
• Maintain, update, modify and create job postings and job descriptions.

Communication:

• Build and nurture relationships with HR staff and hiring managers to ensure everyone is working towards same goal.
• Be the point of contact for applicants, recruiters and hiring managers during the hiring process.
• Schedule phases of interview process for the interview teams as requested by hiring managers.
• Complete Phone Screens effectively to portray necessary information to hiring managers during recruiting process.
• Use multiple forms of communication methods based on task and necessity. Methods may include phone calls, online messaging, video or in-person.
• Gather interview feedback

Training:

• Assist with training HR Team and hiring managers on recruiting and onboarding processes and efforts.
• Participate in creating a strong employer brand. Help teach the culture of the company and enforce its efforts of longevity.

Travel:

• Participate in career fairs and hiring initiatives.

• Visit locations for onsite support as necessary.

Skills/Education

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred
• 1 year of HR or Recruitment experience preferred.
• Strong communication and networking
• Computer and social media proficiency
• High energy, drive and commitment
• Ability to travel as needed
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
