The Role:

The finance function at M&G has four strategic priorities:

This role can be based in Edinburgh or Reading.

Key Work Level Accountabilities:

Colleague:

• Accountable for delivering a quality service and product to customers and stakeholders
• Focuses on quality of delivery to achieve clear outputs within guidelines and precedent
• Runs the organisation’s processes and systems following pre-defined procedures
• Adapts to change, responds with initiative and make suggestions for improvements to own work and processes

Key Responsibilities for this role:

• Working as part of the finance team to contribute to the achievement of one or more of the aforementioned outcomes in order to deliver the vision for Finance
• Working in an area of specialism within the Finance function, you will continuously build on your professional experience and knowledge
• Taking accountability for simple processes or components of more complex processes under the guidance of a more senior and experienced member of the team

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• This is an entry-level role requiring strong numerical and analytical skills, suitable for someone who is working towards an accounting qualification
• Experience of developing relationships at all levels is preferred
• Previous experience of analysing information and presenting this in a format tailored to the needs of your audience
