We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
• Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff
• Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures
• Escort patients to exam rooms
• Recording patient medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information accurately
• Performing basic laboratory tests and procedures, such as collecting blood samples, preparing specimens, and conducting routine diagnostic tests.
• Administering medications as directed by healthcare providers and documenting patient medication information.
• Providing patient education on procedures, medications, and general health information.
• Assisting with minor surgical procedures and wound care under the supervision of healthcare professionals.
• Sterilizing medical instruments and equipment and ensuring proper maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
• Familiarity with medical billing procedures
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
