The salary range for this position is $62,000 – $65,000 at
Assistant Professor rank. The salary of the finalist selected for
this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including
but not limited to, internal equity, education, experience,
specialty and training.

Position Summary
The Department of Human Performance and Sport at Metropolitan State
University of Denver invites applications for a tenure track
appointment as an Assistant Professor of Sport Management. This is
a nine month, full-time position to begin August 2023. The
successful candidate will be a vital member of the Sport Management
faculty and will be required to follow all faculty responsibilities
described in the MSU Denver Faculty Handbook.
The ideal candidate must be able to teach Sport Venue Management,
Sport Sociology, Global Sport, and at least one of the following
courses: Sport Analytics, Introduction to Sport Management, Sport
Governance & Policy, Sport Leadership & Ethics. In
addition, the successful candidate will be expected to advise and
mentor undergraduate students, provide service to the department,
school, university and profession, assume an active role in
appropriate professional organizations, engage in scholarship
activities, and supervise student fieldwork experiences.
