Concert Talent Buyer

Metropolitan Entertainment, a leading concert promotion and events producer based in New York City, is seeking a highly experienced and creative talent buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the music industry and a proven track record of sourcing and booking top-tier talent.

Responsibilities include:

-Identifying and securing emerging and established performers for concert and live events

-Negotiating artist fees and terms with booking agents

-Working closely with event production teams to ensure smooth and successful performances

-Staying current on industry trends and emerging talent

The ideal candidate will have:

-A minimum of 5 years of experience in talent buying or a related field

-A strong network of industry contacts

-Excellent negotiation and communication skills

-A passion for music and a deep understanding of various genres and performers

-The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

Salary commensurate with experience. Employment includes health insurance. Work is done remotely. Must be prepared to work some evenings and weekends. Some travel required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $47,255.45 – $80,000.00 per year
