Director, Talent Acquisition – West Region

DIRECTOR, TALENT ACQUISITION SUMMARY:

Working closely with Vice President of Talent Acquisition and business leaders, this newly created role is a hands-on Director who will support our significant US growth strategy. This position will be responsible for Talent Acquisition ing, metrics & analytics, and function as a Talent Acquisition project manager to streamline and improve all Talent Acquisition resources, technology, and tools. This creative thinker, who also has an attention to detail, has a leader as coach style and will work cross functionally across all lines of the business providing Talent Acquisition results. A prime candidate for this role has prior Retail, Logistics & Distribution Center Talent Acquisition Experience.

Job Location: Staten Island, NY

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent preferred
• 5 years’ experience high volume non-exempt recruiting within following industries: Retail, Logistics and/or Distribution.
• Proficiency in the full-life cycle of the recruiting process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, hiring and selection, onboarding, and retention.
• Advanced knowledge of recruiting ing and analytics, Talent Acquisition technology ATS administration, employment branding and social media.
• 5 years’ experience managing a recruiting team using accountability metrics, requisition management with proven results.
• Strong leader of people who coaches, develops, and encourages excellence
• Collaborator who works cross functionally with HR, Learning and Development, and Business Operations to develop and enhance the TA process.
• Successful networker who is curious and is versed in TA trends, best practices, and benchmarking
• Proven track record as a TA project manager in developing, piloting, and rolling out new guidelines, resources, and tools
• Excellent communication, persuasion, negotiation, and collaboration skills
• Availability to work off hours and weekends, travel when needed
• Must be a creative thinker, problem-solver, have strong business acumen and able to work in a fast-paced environment, under substantial pressure
