The Position

MTM currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Project Talent Acquisition team on a permanent basis. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist for Projects, you will be responsible for designing and delivering end to end recruitment solutions for the division. This is a role where adding value, building relationships and being the subject matter expert is key to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and lead end-to-end recruitment activities for assigned Projects & stakeholders, from understanding workforce planning needs and designing sourcing strategies through to the offer of employment.
  • Support the Talent Acquisition Partner in developing Talent Acquisition strategies in a competitive environment
  • Create and present candidate shortlists that meet the agreed campaign brief, future needs of the business and Metro diversity aspirations
  • Coach and guide hiring managers to demonstrate best practice through the recruitment and selection lifecycle and ensure compliance with Metro processes and practices
  • Build, foster & maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates and demonstrate a high level of care at all times
  • Drive continuous improvement of recruitment processes and practices with the Talent Acquisition team

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within either a Internal or Agency environment
  • Experience recruiting within Construction / Infrastructure industry or similar advantageous
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and highly challenging environment
  • Ability to build & maintain strong relationships with stakeholder groups
  • Experience in using LinkedIn Recruiter, Seek Talent Search
  • Demonstrated experience recruiting across Candidate short markets and technical roles.
