Position purpose
Our Operations & Passenger Delivery (O&PD) People team are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join the Metro Trains family on a full-time, permanent basis. In this role, you will manage a diverse group of clients across the O&PD portfolio and recruit high-volume, critical roles that support our network and keep Melbourne moving. Moreover, the Talent Acquisition Partner will specifically manage the recruitment of roles for the new and exciting Metro Tunnel, one of the most significant changes to the rail network since the City Loop was built in the 1970s. In addition, you will work in a highly supportive and down-to-earth team and have the opportunity to contribute to strategic projects aimed at delivering improved services to our customers and candidates.

About the role (Key areas of responsibility)
- Design and lead the end-to-end recruitment process for specific areas in O&PD division from understanding workforce planning needs and designing sourcing strategy through to the offer of employment
- Support the Talent Acquisition Manager in developing Talent Acquisition strategies in a competitive environment
- Coach and guide hiring managers to demonstrate best practices through the recruitment and selection lifecycle and ensure compliance with Metro processes and practices
- Provide regular stakeholder contact and progress updates on the campaign
- Complete regular analysis and reporting to support leaders manage their business
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates and demonstrate a high level of care at all times
About you
- Experience and knowledge of the recruitment function with proven capacity to work within applicable legislation, policy, and guidelines
- Sound organisational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Proven, sound oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in coordinating recruitment campaigns through an applicant tracking system
- Sophisticated written and verbal communication skills and a high level of consultation, negotiation, influencing and interpersonal relationship skills
- Highly capable of creating and executing recruitment reporting metrics/dashboards to provide transparency to client groups and support decisions on Talent Acquisition
- Manage external partnerships and relationships
- Experience with managing high-volume recruitment campaigns
- Proven experience in balancing the needs of hiring managers with the needs of the business
