Position Purpose Statement

Metro has an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the efficient and effective end to end recruitment solutions for volume recruitment positions. Our team focuses on ensuring that the right talent is being recruited or internally moved at the right time.
This position reports to the Senior Talent Acquisition Partner – Passenger Experience and Operations. The position is initially offered for 12 months.

About the position

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will:

• Support with the running of Assessment Centres and pre-employment testing for candidates
• Partner with the team to manage advertising campaigns including writing, posting and maintaining job advertisements
• Support with the overall recruitment process across multiple roles
• Manage recruitment administration duties such as pre-employment checks, reference checks, contract generation and on-boarding
• Communicate with candidates and monitor a variety of email inboxes
• Produce analysis and reporting to support leaders manage their business

About You

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Previous experience providing coordination and administration support to a busy Talent Acquisition Team
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail and the ability and desire to adhere to protocols and process
• Previous experience using an internal applicant tracking system
• Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritise to best effect
