Talent Manager Summary:

The Talent Manager will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting in key markets. This will be a hands-on role responsible for full cycle recruiting, employee engagement, and assisting with training, as well as partnering, when necessary, with client leadership. In addition, the Talent Manager will support recruiting activities for new client locations. Travel required.

Talent Manager Responsibilities:

• Build applicant pipeline by researching and contacting community services, local colleges, and networking within markets.
• Determine the hiring needs of the area by establishing staffing requirements through consultation with field management and workforce scheduling. Sustain staffing expectations through knowledge of turnover, scheduling restrictions, and forecasting.
• Utilize technology and social media networking tools as well as traditional sourcing techniques. to source the best candidates.
• Understand and be knowledgeable of talent acquisition trends and changes through research, relying heavily on data, metrics, and industry best practices in coordinating recruitment efforts.
• Ensure delivery of prompt and effective communications with candidates & workforce scheduling throughout the full cycle recruiting process

• Utilize applicant tracking system to ensure all data is updated throughout the interview and hiring process.
• Collaborate effectively with human resources to ensure onboarding, compliance, and employee records are accurate at the time of hire.
• Prepare collect, analyze, and on progress, trends, and issues, proposing solutions to identified challenges.
• Participate in other duties as assigned.

Talent Manager Qualifications:

• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience as a Hourly Recruiter or Retail Store Manager
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
• Must be trustworthy, have a high sense of integrity, be customer-centric, results-driven and be agile and open to change.
• Ability to work independently in an office environment and produce sustainable results with minimal supervision.

• Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems (Kronos) and PC skills in MS Office applications

• A proven career history, with no more than three jobs in the last five years.
• Must be available to travel.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

• Knowledge of applicable employment laws

• Must be able to successfully complete a drug and thorough background check
