Methuen Construction Company, Inc Hiring for Scheduler at Plaistow, NH Full Time

Methuen Construction is seeking a Scheduler to provide essential support to the Operations department. This position s to the Scheduling Manager and is a key contributor to our team. We are looking for individuals excited to grow their career, and will provide you with the training needed to excel in this role!

As a Scheduler, you will work with the Scheduling Manager and Project Management staff of each project to help develop, implement, and maintain the overall project schedule.

Main Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Scheduling Manager and project management staff to help them develop, implement, and maintain individual project schedules
• Perform all work required to ensure project schedules are complete and acceptable to the project management team and the appropriate Project Executive
• Assist in dollar loading schedules as required
• Assist in resource loading schedules as required. Analyze resource loading and adjust the schedule as appropriate
• Proactively analyze project schedules including comparing cumulative cost/resource curves to actuals, tracking float consumption, change order impact analysis, etc.
• Work with the Scheduling Manager to continually improve the Company s scheduling methodology and effectiveness
• Produce network logic diagrams, bar charts, and schedule s for all project schedules, as required, to support the project management teams
• Provide training and technical support for scheduling software
• Travel to individual projects, as required, to provide scheduling support to project management staff
• Participate in the scheduling portion of Project Reviews as required
• Provide scheduling and computer support, as required
• Travel to project sites in order to train and assist with scheduling needs

This is a full-time, salaried-exempt position

Travel

Travel is primarily limited to Northeast jobsite locations

Education and Experience

• Three to five years experience in the field, as a project engineer, scheduler, or other relatable construction position(s)
• Experience or understanding of Primavera P6 and other scheduling software helpful
• Good communication, both verbal and written, and the ability to learn or master skills quickly

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Ability to lift a minimum of 10-25 lbs.
• Able to sit for extended periods of time
• Able to function in a standard office setting
