Hiring for our 2022-2023 school year with the opportunity to start at Summer Camp in June!

Hello there! We are a progressive preschool on the LA Westside and are seeking an early childhood educator to join our dynamic and passionate group of teachers and staff. Our school follows an eclectic approach to teaching young children, and some of our favorite theorists and pedagogies include Lev Vygotsky, Maria Montessori, Reggio Emilia, Howard Gardner, and Richard Louv, to name a few. Our ideal candidate would possess the following qualities:

· A love for young children and families, and a passion for early childhood education and development

· Strong work ethic, punctual, dependable, and able to multi-task

· Strong time management and organizational skills

· Collaborative spirit, someone who values working with and learning from others

· A “can do” attitude, someone who views problems and challenges as opportunities for growth – a growth mindset!

· Strong speaking skills, with the ability to vary the way you communicate with a variety of people, including children, parents, and other teachers and staff

· Strong writing skills, with the ability to tailor writing according to different needs and audiences

· Warm, compassionate, flexible, mature, and respectful

· A minimum of 12 ECE units and some experience in this field
