Metcash Hiring for Talent Acquisition Manager Job at Sydney Full Time

Lead the Talent Acquisition (TA) function at Metcash as part of the Talent and Strategic Workforce Planning Centre of Expertise. Develop and implement talent strategies aligned with the People Strategy. Lead the design and delivery of recruitment projects and processes.

What you’ll do:
Manage internal and external talent processes, including recruitment, pipelining of talent and sourcing

Manage processes and create tools to support a great candidate experience, through to onboarding

Coach leaders on TA processes, providing access to internal talent and insight into the external market

Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders within People & Culture and the broader business to ensure collaboration, partnering and teamwork

Manage relationships with external partners and agencies, including commercial negotiations as required

Lead the TA team, supporting a good team culture and performance, including ensuring performance objectives and development plans are in place

Act as custodian of the recruitment and careers module in Success Factors and associated processes, ensuring issues are rectified and the system is continually improved, providing reports and data as needed

Ensure recruitment activity supports Metcash’s strategic objectives including gender representation, gender pay equity and remuneration principles

Support the implementation and evolution of the Metcash Employee Value Proposition and Brand.

What you’ll bring

Experience in leading an internal TA function within a large complex organization

The ability to translate strategies and plans into action

Experience in managing internal platforms and channels (Success Factors knowledge is advantageous)

People leadership, including the coaching and developing of talent

The ability to creating a customer-focused culture

Experience in using data and research to provide insights to the business

Experience in managing project and operational deliverables as well as budgets.
