Main Duties
If selected, you will work in a variety of duties that include:
Run and process payroll
Work with hiring managers to plan the hiring processes, recruit, and select candidates
Onboard new employees
Communicate and coordinate with staffing agencies for temporary employees
Ensure Metalumen’s compliance with all employment laws, including ESA, Human Rights Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, Common Law, and others
Ensure a Safe and Healthy work environment by participating in the JHSC and coordinating H&S programs and initiatives
Coordinate WSIB claims and early return to work programs
Review and implement HR policies and procedures
Record and support the employees’ employment timeline that include approve vacations, handle hiring processes, terminations, legal questions and issues, solve payroll inquires, and others
Administrate Metalumen’s benefits and pension plan
Coordinate funds or governmental programs applications
Other duties and responsibilities as requested by our Controller
Requirements
Minimal 3 years experience working as a Human Resources Professional in Manufacturing
Post-Secondary education in Human Resources Management
CHRP is an asset
CPP is an asset
Advanced understanding and working knowledge of employment and workplace legislation
Problem-solving
Advanced interpersonal communication skills
Good critical/analytical thinking
Negotiation abilities

Start rate of pay: $30-35/hr
