Job Title: Diesel/Service Fitter

Location: Manchester

Shifts: Days regular, 39 hours a week

Salary: £14.62 per hour

Metalis are working with a company who are involved in the manufacture, service and repair of Pump equipment they are looking for a Diesel/Service Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis.

The position includes site servicing, repairing and setting up as well as shop based work.

Job Duties:

• Completing servicing on pump equipment, motor, rotating and diesel engines.
• Responding to and diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolving issues.
• Maintenance and repair of equipment.
• Assuring accurate service, repair, and damage records are kept.
• A firm understanding of Diesel engines and pump equipment.
• Have experience in maintaining workshop standards.
• Fault finding and resolving mechanical issues.

Job Requirements:

• Time served preferred with a good knowledge of diesel engines.
• Training will be provided.
