Job Summary

Health Information Assistants are critical members of our clinical teams. HIAs perform various administrative tasks including:

• Maintain neighborhoods active clinical records in an organized file system
• Coordinates all aspects of admission, transfers, and discharges
• Secretarial duties relating to the department on a daily basis
• Responsible for surveillance of all clinical records in the Neighborhoods and their compliance with regulations

Job Standards

• Preferred graduate of a medical secretary/assistance program
• Proficient secretarial and organization skills
• Must have basic computer skills
• Must have excellent communication skills, including phone and receptionist skills.
