Messer Cutting Systems Inc., a leading global manufacturer of CNC cutting machines, including drilling/milling, plasma, fiber laser and oxyfuel processes, has an opening for a Recruiter due to continued growth and expansion. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the Recruiter manages the talent acquisition process to bring qualified candidates to the company. This position is responsible for increasing company visibility in the market, while minimizing acquisition costs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and execute creative recruiting plans through networking with industry contacts, association memberships, trade groups, social media, and the local community, while at the same time marketing and promoting the Messer company culture
· Source, screen and select top talent utilizing various strategies such as topgrading
· Collaborate with hiring managers to optimize job descriptions and assist in identifying essential skills for each position
· Responsible for overseeing the onboarding experience by developing and continuously improving the process
Required Skills and Knowledge
The ideal candidate for this position will be very creative and innovative; someone who doesn’t always “color within the lines”. The successful candidate will have an established track record of continuously improving on the quality of candidates sourced, as well as a reduction in the time it has taken to fill open positions with top talent.
We require:
· A minimum of 3 years’ recruiting experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or other business-related field, preferred
· A high level of creativity to seek out and utilize various avenues to find potential candidates, in addition to marketing and promoting Messer as an employer of choice.
· Knowledge and skills necessary to seek out and identify top talent.
· The ability to multi-task and adapt to changing situations and priorities
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· The tenacity and persuasiveness required in pursuing potential candidates
· Organizational and planning skills
