Merit Tutors is seeking to recruit ambitious tutors to join our network of online teachers with exceptional experience in their teaching subject.

Merit Tutors, located in East London, has been providing professional support and interactive teaching to students of various abilities since 2004; by targeting academic gaps and developing skills like confidence and self-determination to create a positive engagement with learning. Merit Tutors is currently looking for dedicated and motivated tutors as well as qualified teachers, responsible to deliver online sessions to students of various abilities of a subject of their choice, ensuring that each student receives utmost care in their educational needs.

Duties/responsibilities:

· Deliver interactive and tailored sessions with personalised learning resources to target specific gaps in knowledge, mapped to the current national curriculum

· Plan and prepare one to one lesson according to the student’s unique learning needs

· Facilitate and create an excelling environment to help students develop greater confidence, passion and self-determination

· Completing regular assessment of varying levels, providing verbal and written feedback and progress reports

Tutor requirement:

· Degree in teaching subject

· For current graduates – strong academic background for your chosen teaching subject (GCSE and A-Level)

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: £8.72-£37.41 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
