Sweeprite, a division of Merit Manufacturing has been building road sweeping machine since 1978. Merit Manufacturing was founded in 2005 offering laser cutting and metal forming services to clients across South Wester Ontario and Quebec. Sweeprite division was founded in Regina Saskatchewan and move to Breslau, Ontario in 2018.

Sweeprite is known through out the road sweeping industry for its many innovations and the quality of its products.

We are presently searching for an addition to our machine building team. Sweeprite offers a fast-paced machine building environment and the opportunity to add additional skills to your resume.

Position: Assistant to Machinery Assembler, Training Provided.

Education: Secondary School Graduation Certificate

Experience: Minimum Two Years

Specific skills: Operate Fork Lift, Read and Complete Work Orders

Equipment and Machinery Experience: Lifting Devices, Hand Tools, Hand Truck, Dolly, Deburring tools

Transportation: Own Transportation

Work Condition and Physical Requirements: Fast Paced Environment, Attention to detail, Physically Demanding, Extended Periods of Standing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
