Meriplex Communications Hiring for HRIS Director – UKG at Houston, TX Full Time

The successful candidate will have experience in HRIS management using UKG, a deep understanding of employee benefits programs, and strong experience with multi-state payroll/benefits enrollment. In this position, you will:

• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the HRIS system, ensuring that it meets the needs of the organization and is aligned with our overall HR strategy.
• Work closely with other HR leaders to ensure that the HRIS system is fully integrated with other HR programs, including talent acquisition, performance management, and compensation.
• Manage the implementation of new HRIS modules and upgrades, including the design and testing of new functionality, data conversions, and system integrations.
• Develop and maintain HRIS-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Develop and manage the annual benefits budget, ensuring that it is aligned with the overall business strategy and financial goals.
• Manage the design and implementation of employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders, including finance and legal, to ensure that the benefits programs are properly funded, administered, and compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
• Provide guidance and support to HR colleagues, managers, and employees on all HRIS and benefits-related issues.
• Analyze HRIS and benefits data to identify trends and insights, and make recommendations for program enhancements and cost savings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Deep understanding of employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and wellness programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Strong competence to motivate and influence key stakeholders.
• Sound business acumen skills.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in HRIS management and employee benefits administration.
• Experience implementing UKG systems.
• Strong UKG administrator experience.
• Strong knowledge of HRIS systems, including implementation, customization, and integration.

Work Schedule/Travel:

• Standard Meriplex business hours of Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Estimated 0% travel required.

Physical Demands:

Sedentary Work – Exerts up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 – $160,000.00 per year
