Salary: London: circa 35K, Edinburgh: circa 30K, NL: circa 38K – depending on experience and other locations pending local benchmark

The Talent Management, Leadership & Learning Team designs, implements and proactively integrates programs that build and sustain high performing and engaged team members across Mercy Corps. We focus on attracting, growing and retaining talent who can best achieve their goals while championing Mercy Corps’ purpose, mission and values.
In this role, you will use your project management, communication, stakeholder relationships and leadership skills to coordinate and lead the delivery and improvement of the People with Possibility program . Strong collaboration will be a requirement and an ability to integrate gender, diversity, inclusion and a culture of belonging across all programs will be critical

SUPERVISES: Part time administrative support
Mercy Corps team members are expected to support all efforts toward accountability, specifically to our program participants, community partners, other stakeholders, and to international standards guiding international relief and development work. We are committed to actively engaging communities as equal partners in the design, monitoring and evaluation of our field projects.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
SUCCESS FACTORS: The successful candidate will have a passion for learning and development and support team development within the context of the work that Mercy Corps does. They will have experience facilitating training and supporting others to roll out organizational training. They will also be highly organized , have an attention to detail and have experience in overseeing the roll out of initiatives and the ability to track metrics and evaluate success and learning. They will be able to build networks and relationships at multiple levels within the organization and have experience in managing change. The successful candidate will have a growth mindset and be able to effectively role model the practices that People with Possibility promotes.
LIVING / ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: This position is based in Portland, Oregon. It requires minimal domestic and/or international travel in support of the Global Internship Program. Work on weekends and evenings may be required. Mercy Corps Team members represent the agency both during and outside of work hours when deployed in a field posting or on a visit to a field posting. Team members are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and respect local laws, customs and MC’s policies, procedures, and values at all times and in all in-country venues.
