Mercy Community Service Hiring for Finance Systems Accountant Job at Nudgee Full Time

Mercy Community is experiencing rapid growth and enhancements across our services. To support us through this change, we are seeking a high performing and collaborative Finance Systems Accountant to join our Corporate Services Team located in Nudgee. We are offering this role on a permanent full-time basis, with flexibility to work between the office and home.

The Role…

The Finance Systems Accountant is responsible for assisting in the development, implementation, and administration of Mercy Community’s financial systems. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting in the administration of the TechnologyOne system (core platform) and other subsidiary finance systems. This includes user access, system configuration, XLOne reporting and ETLs.
• Assisting in the research of financial record-keeping and reporting requirements and ensure systems are modified to meet these requirements.
• Participating in the evaluation, design, implementation, testing, and delivering of appropriate reporting solutions within Mercy Community’s business intelligence system and business context.
• Maintenance and documentation of finance system data structures including budget data, customer and supplier accounts, procurement and fleet processes.
• Maintenance of existing reporting and process solutions.
• Identifying and resolving system issues.
• Providing documentation, troubleshooting support and ad-hoc training to systems users.

About you…

To be successful in the role you will be CA/CPA qualified or be working towards these qualifications. You will need an understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of TechOne, strong numeracy skills and a thorough knowledge of accounting practices. As a highly analytical individual, you will require the ability to identify and solve problems with ease. You will have strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to build collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience with Epicor, Expense Management Systems, and Property Management Systems will be highly regarded.
