We’re looking for a Social Media Coordinator who shares our passion for affecting climate change by supporting our cleantech client base. The successful candidate will have a proven track record delivering results from social media campaigns by developing strategies, sharing fresh ideas, and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. You’ll be working with our content developers and graphic designers to lead and launch social media campaigns, owning each project from start to end. That means you’ll need top-notch organization skills to maximize efficiency while also being an excellent communicator and reliable team member. You’ll certainly set yourself apart if you can demonstrate that you’re keeping up with the latest tips and tools for leveraging LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Lead, develop and launch social media strategies and campaigns for Mercom and its clients
Develop creative ideas to deliver innovative, engaging campaigns
Grow new audiences through content strategy and original social content
Analyze marketing plans and develop media strategies to meet goals
Research social media trends and implement changes when relevant
Develop goals and performance metrics for campaigns; monitor regularly to understand the effectiveness of the strategy and make recommendations for continuous improvement
Develop key performance indicators (KPIs), such as targets for a certain number of shares, likes and audience growth, and measure a campaign’s performance against the KPIs
Present results to Mercom and clients regularly on campaign plans and results
Qualifications
Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
3+ years of professional, non-internship marketing experience
Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
Experience using Google Suite to manipulate, analyze and share data (ex. Google Analytics)
General knowledge of SEO and internet ranking for web content
Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention
Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
Ability to adapt to continually changing schedules
Thinks strategically and stays on top of tactical execution
Receptive to direction and feedback

Strong communication skills

B2B social media experience a must
