Talent Acquisition Lead

• This role sits within Mercer Evolve – executive search firm
• The Talent Acquisition Lead reports to the Head of Client Solutions (HOCS) and is primarily client facing.
• The role focuses on
• This role has three components to it which is to support the Client Solutions function which is primarily the Client Relationship Management engine of Evolve, lead and manage client engagements, and supporting the business development activities of the business working in collaboration with the Talent Solutions Director, CEO and CCO.

We will count on you to:

• Leads and supports Client Relationship Management activities on select accounts
• Maps out key influencers within our client organisations and builds appropriate positioning strategies
• Builds the credibility of Evolve to move from single transactional delivery to multiple relationships at different levels of the client organisations with the aim of providing the full suite of Evolve services
• Maintains a proactive watching brief on potential business development opportunities working collaboratively across Evolve to maximise opportunities
• Manages end to end delivery of a portfolio of projects/engagements
• Responsible for managing client expectations related to engagement scope, process and plan to meet the promised outcome – ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
• Regular and timely communication with clients to manage engagement progress to ensure results are sustained and continue to meet client’s expectations
• Prepare and deliver presentations to senior level clients

What you need to have:

• 8+ years of broadly talent experience in a corporate environment with at least 5 years in talent acquisition
• Expert talent acquisition practitioner with experience gained from in house talent sourcing, premium executive search, large corporate, HR consulting or executive research firm
• A track record of sustained success at a senior level managing a diverse and complex range of projects
• Has experience in sustained management of client relationships with a history of success
• Proven experience in managing a portfolio of talent acquisition projects including sourcing, selection and interviewing
• Project Management skills, an ability to manage multiple projects within the given time frames
• Fluent in contemporary Talent Acquisition strategies and approaches
• Understands how large corporate organisations are structured and is able to evaluate both capability requirements for senior positions and have an informed understanding of the talent market
