Position: Accounting Clerk

Job Summary: Euromotors Auto Group has an outstanding opportunity for an organized, task-oriented, motivated, attention to detail Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will provide clerical and administrative support to various desks within the business office including account reconciliation. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting in the daily operational tasks relating to the processing and payment of paychecks, maintaining confidential employee files/records, health benefits, 401k, and new hire onboarding / screening.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Reports directly to the Office Manager supporting a variety of office related accounting functions. Provides general clerical support as requested.
• Completes monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
• Responsible for ensuring all transaction documentation is accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner.
• Assist in payroll processing and calculating commissions using excel spreadsheets.
• Review invoices, memos, and correspondence to ensure accounting records and documents are accurate.
• Assist in reconciling GL accounts monthly.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills.
• Must be a team player and able to work well with other administrative professionals.

Minimum Qualifications:

• This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent
• Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
• ADP Payroll and CDK experience helpful but will train the right person
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail
• General math skills and critical thinking to ensure clean and efficient work
• Good written & verbal communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity
• Good attendance and punctuality

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour
