Mental Health Association of Monmouth County Hiring for Behavioral Assistant (BA) for CSOC at Tinton Falls, NJ Full Time

The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County is seeking a consultant for a Behavioral Assistant position, who will address specific target behaviors to help youth and families develop (and practice) healthy/positive coping strategies and techniques. Behavioral Assistants will meet with youth and families in person, either in the home or community. These services are short term and have projected timeframes of three months.

The Behavioral Assistant s to the Vice President of Youth Services.

Responsibilities:

Behavioral Assistance is comprised of specific outcome-oriented interventions that are components of an approved plan of care, prepared by a licensed clinical behavioral healthcare practitioner. Intervention focuses on addressing target behaviors with youth ages 5-21 related to the following:

• Physical and emotional well-being
• Interpersonal communications and relationships
• Socialization behaviors and activities
• Behavioral conduct
• Healthy coping strategies and behaviors

Referrals are received from Mobile Response and Care Management Organizations in Monmouth and Ocean Counties.

Education:

• High school diploma
• Bachelor’s degree in a recognized mental health discipline (preferred)

Location:

While this is a remote position, applicant will be required to provide in home or in community service to individuals and families in Monmouth and Ocean County, New Jersey,
