In compliance with applicable State regulatory authorities, COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory for all MSK staff. Staff are considered fully vaccinated upon completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19 (i.e., one dose of a single dose vaccine or a final dose of a multi-dose vaccine series). Exceptions from the COVID-19 vaccine requirement are permitted for those who request and receive an approved medical or fully remote exemption. Requests for medical exemption can take up to two weeks to review. Vaccination or an approved medical exemption is required to start work.
  • Staff working at a MSK New Jersey location must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccination, which includes having completed the primary COVID-19 vaccination series and booster once eligible as mandated by New Jersey State. All New Jersey staff not yet eligible for a booster must receive a booster within 3 weeks of becoming eligible as a condition of continued employment at MSK.

Note: Individuals are eligible to receive a COVID-19 booster two months after completion of a primary vaccination series for COVID-19. Because vaccine-induced immunity can wane over time, MSK continues to strongly urge all staff to get a COVID-19 booster as soon as they become eligible to maintain their protective immunity for a longer period.

Job Description:

We are excited to recruit an We are excited to recruit a Senior Administrative Assistant to support our VP, Chief of Staff in DigITs. This is a great mobility opportunity for an internal employee ready to take the next steps in their administrative career.

Please note this is a hybrid role and will require flexibility to come on-site 2 times per week at 633 Third Ave or other MSK locations across NYC.


You Will:

  • Perform various clerical duties and administrative duties, including calendar management, coordinating meetings, processing reimbursements, taking meeting notes, and organizing travel arrangements as needed
  • Answer phones, emails, teams messages; order supplies, and prepare correspondence and documentation as the need arises in a professional and timely manner
  • Coordinate the receipt and distribution of mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Ensure confidentiality for critical documents as per department and institution guidelines
  • Work collaboratively to meet shared objectives and goals
  • Input and update data into spreadsheets and databases
  • Assist and participate in departmental projects
  • Meet and greet visitors


You Are:

You Have:

  • 4+ years of strong administrative support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams); Zoom, SharePoint and other collaboration tools. Workday knowledge a plus
  • Outstanding organization and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize/multi-task, work independently and navigate challenging situations
  • Interest in Digital Technology and enthusiasm for MSK’s mission
