Melior Associates Looking for Site Manager at Guildford, Surrey Full Time
I have immediate opportunities for a Site Managers & Site Supervisors working within my client’s rail infrastructure division.
The positions will cover either the London or Wessex regions
My client is a hugely successful civil engineering contractor offering fantastic career opportunities
The positions will report to the Project Manager
The Site manager and Site Superviors will be responsible for the management and delivery of projects
Responsibilities
- Plan & deliver projects
- Producing reports
- management of the supply chain
- weekly reviews
- Chair and attend internal and external meetings
- Coach and motivate the site teams
- Manage and drive performance
- Effective communication
- Responsible for Health & safety procedures
- Support the commercial team
Requirements
- Proven ability and experience delivering Civil Engineering projects within a Rail environment, with an ability to manage rail projects from tender handover to completion.
- Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills; able to manage projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality
- Excellent people management skills with the ability to influence and mentor to motivate employees to achieve exacting standards of compliance
Certifications / Qualifications required for the Site Manager / Site Supervisor
Related NVQ, HNC/HND or degree
Personal Track Safety (PTS)
Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
Temporary Works Coordinator (TWC) or Temporary Works
Supervisor (TWS)
Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)
