The Role

As the Contracts Finance Specialist you’ll be responsible for providing contract administration and management support for the capital delivery Framework Agreements and other contracts as required. As the Contracts Finance Specialist you will have a high levels of technical skills in the development and management of complex contracts, to deliver effective and efficient commercial and procurement outcomes. In this role you will:

• Contract administration of the Framework Agreements and other contracts as required
• Monitor, analyse and report on Framework Agreement Service Provider’s performance and benefits realization
• Monitor, analyse and improve project delivery performance for Major Program Delivery
• Development and implementation of improvement initiatives for Major Program Delivery
• Administration of MPD OPEX, Coordinate and prepare Major Program Delivery Business Plan information and documents, Reallocation accounts (CRAP and SCRAP)
• Develop and implement management tools to ensure all internal KPI’s are met or exceeded

Your Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in Contract Administration, particularly in the areas of budgeting, planning, forecasting, cost monitoring and reporting in a Commercial environment
• Demonstrated competency in the development, administration, execution and renewal of complex contracts (traditional & collaborative)
• Demonstrated experience with design and construction service providers within the infrastructure capital sector
• Demonstrated experience in resolving commercial and contractual issues
• Demonstrated Financial acumen and sound knowledge of Accounting principles
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of design and construction of water and waste water infrastructure
• Demonstrated knowledge of government legislation, audit regulations, legal obligations and Victorian Procurement Board policies across government contracts
• Demonstrated investigative and analytical skills including the ability to use MS Excel, Database and reporting systems

Your ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders is required together with a Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in commercial/ legal/financial/business management
