Educator – MSI School Holiday Programs

3 weeks Full-time (days negotiable). $28-$35 an hour.

Melbourne Sports Institute is growing our wonderful team! Due to the continued growth of and demand for MSI services, we have expanded into the childcare space. We are incredibly excited to start our journey as a provider of OSHC Vacation Care. We are operate out of three rural primary schools in Victoria with plans to grow further.

We are searching for a qualified team of enthusiastic Educators across our three locations to deliver engaging, enjoyable and educational curriculums for regional children who do not otherwise have the opportunity to attend such programs.

– Provision of physical care for children as required in their daily routines and mealtimes

The Role:

– Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the school community

– Nurture a welcoming environment for learning

– Deliver and maintain a fun and compliant program under the National Quality Framework

– Daily planning and organisation of the MSI schedule

– Leading and/or working within a group of educators in supervising and supporting primary school aged children

Skills & Experience: *denotes required

– *Completed or working towards completing an Education related Diploma or equivalent

– *Employee Working with Children Check

– *Fully vaccinated for Covid-19

– First Aid Certificate, including resuscitation certificate, asthma and anaphylaxis

You will need to be available Monday – Friday, 7.30am – 6.00pm during Victorian Public School Holidays at Crib Point Primary School

While it is preferable for applicants to be available for week 1, week 2 and/or week 3, we would still love to hear from you if you are available for a specific day(s).

Job Types: Full-time, Casual

Salary: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Crib Point, VIC 3919: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Teaching: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Working with Children Check (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)
