Two newly created Consultant roles in Melbourne Business School’s Learning Consulting team will play a key part in how we deliver outstanding and impactful learning experiences for clients and learners.

We are looking for consultants with corporate experience, a passion for learning, and capability in designing and delivering learning solutions on topics such as leadership, change, culture, strategy, and sustainability. About the Role

This role works closely with learning specialists and digital design experts, and alongside the business development team, world-class faculty members, SMEs in our associate network, and MBS’ Centres of Excellence.

In this role you will deliver high quality learning and development solutions on custom client accounts and open program short courses, in order to uplift capability, develop leaders and support change for clients and learners. The role requires an understanding of client needs and an ability to adapt to the style and culture of different organisational contexts.

Responsibilities will include:

• Contributing to the design of learning solutions and ensuring they are supported by academic rigour
• Delivering content on codified or large-scale client programs and short courses to a consistently high standard
• Producing deliverables and outcomes as per project scope, timeframes and budget
• Applying core consulting skills (analysis, synthesis, report writing, presenting)
• Working across sectors and multiple projects to develop breadth or depth of skill or specialisation
• Contributing valuable content to business development opportunities (e.g. proposals, bids and pitches and cultivating a network of client contacts by actively nurturing key relationships between projects)
• Contributing to thought leadership
• Keeping current with emerging technologies, research, and market and industry trends
• Contributing to MBS strategic projects where required

About You

With strong interpersonal and communication skills and an inclusive and collaborative style, you are an experienced facilitator of face to face and digital learning experiences. You have strong commercial acumen with an appreciation for budget and costing decisions. Your consulting skills include structured thinking, compelling presentations, analysis, synthesis, and research and writing capability.

Experience in stakeholder management (internal and external), networking & building client relationships are highly desirable. Adept at learning quickly, you have an interest in emerging technology and are excited about the cutting edge of the future of work and future of learning.

This will be accompanied by:

• Masters level qualifications in Organisational Design, Human Resources, Psychology, Education, Business or related disciplines or clearly demonstrated commercial or consulting experience
• Experience in Executive/Management Education, Learning and Development, or Consulting
• Demonstrated facilitation experience, including design and delivery of learning solutions
• Demonstrated experience working with diverse teams to achieve goals
