MEI Electrical Contractors Hiring for Controller Job at Westfield, VT Full Time

This position reports to the President and is responsible for providing overall leadership and management for financial and other assigned functions.

1. Supervise staff of three to include Payroll and HR, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Billing and other related functions.
2. Coordinate with Project Management for contract review and reporting for preparation and processing of monthly pay requisitions.
3. Evaluate strategies of the Company to determine financial needs and risks; assist in allocating resources to accomplish objectives.
4. Manage financial and regulatory risk, including: monitoring compliance with legal requirements; prepare financial reports for compliance with agreements and regulations; and perform related tasks.
5. Recommend and implement financial policies, procedures, and systems to ensure proper management of Company finances.
6. Establish programs and policies, and ensure integration of company objectives.
7. Perform other duties of a similar nature or level.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; 5 years of related experience; or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above. Experience in Construction and Contracting Industries preferred.

Pay: $60,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
