MEHTA Engineering Hiring for Accounting Administrator Job at Winter Park, FL Full Time

Mehta Engineering, a 40+ year plus civil engineering and construction management firm is looking for an accounting adminstrator to work in their Winter Park office. The person must work well in a team environment and must be highly organized. The candidate must also have a strong accounting and bookkeeping background as well as strong excel skills with high technology proficiency to learn new programs/systems. This person will help manage payroll, accounts payable, reconciliations, general ledger entries, accounts receivable, financial statements and other reporting metrics. Strong preference will be given to candidates that have:

• 5+ yrs experience of general accounting experience
• 2+ yrs experience/background working in the civil engineering/construction industry
• Deltek experience (or other similar accounting package like Quickbooks)
• BS degrees in accounting and/or finance
