The Role
Based in Brisbane, and reporting to the Head of Talent Acquisition, you’ll have the opportunity to partner with global leaders to drive talent acquisition in line with the business strategy as we expand in current markets, and enter new ones. The team works in a highly collaborative and flexible environment. We are looking for a challenge seeker, someone who takes ownership, and who is innovative and creative in their approach.

This role will be eligible for a quarterly bonus.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partnering with Megaport’s hiring managers across all functions; Sales, Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Finance and Product to source top talent.

• Managing the end-to-end global recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, assessment, interview, evaluation and reference to ensure quality talent is placed in our business.

• Conducting the recruitment kick off meetings with our managers, acting as their key point of contact throughout the entire process.

• Dedicated sourcing time; manage multiple sourcing channels through professional networks, web and social media, and attending networking events as required.

• Coordinate development of job descriptions, screening guides, evaluation forms.

• Maintain our high quality candidate experience consistent with Megaport’s culture.

• Contribute to maintaining a recruitment culture that involves all team members in attracting and securing top talent for Megaport.

• Acting as a Talent advisor on competitive and market-driven insights to help Megaport’s teams to better understand their unique talent markets.

• Driving referral campaigns across the global business, and contributing to social media campaigns.

• Other ad-hoc People & Culture Team tasks and projects as required.

What We Are Looking For

• At least 4 + years’ of recruiting experience across a variety of technical skill sets.

• You’ll be skilled in engaging and coaching internal stakeholders at all levels, demonstrating a high sense of urgency and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.

• Focused and committed to continuous improvement, with the ability to consistently network, build and grow working relationships.

• Innovative sourcing methodologies and an interest in Talent Branding

• Experience working with relevant tools; LinkedIn Recruiter, an HRIS and/or ATS, job boards, etc.

• Consultative communication approach, and strong interpersonal skills, with effective relationship building and ability to influence.

• A strong reputation for excellent candidate generation.

• Team player; willingness to jump in and support the team where needed.
