The Accountant will provide accounting support to the APAC and Global finance team. In this role, they will be responsible for a variety of financial and accounting tasks related to end of month close, both locally and globally.

What you will be doing

• Work across multiple departments and data sources to ensure revenue and costs are accurately captured in the relevant financial period.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as part of month end financial results.
• Analyse monthly direct network costs across all regions.
• Assist with the preparation of indirect and direct tax submissions.
• Partner with a variety of stakeholders to provide finance support.
• Prepare analysis of the financial results for reporting packs.
• Provide inputs for the annual budget and rolling forecast.
• Support for various finance projects as required.

What we are looking for

• Previous experience in a similar role (1+ years).
• Tertiary education – Accounting, Business or Finance required.
• Commencement of studies, such as CPA, CA or CIMA.
• Advanced excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
