Traineeship Positions

Diploma Early Childhood Education and Care

Woodvale location

Monday to Friday

Minimum of 15 hours up to 32.5 hours a week.

A unique opportunity to be part of a small team of trained Educators in a pre-kindy environment. Our beautiful service is integrated within the Children and Family Centre

Our 20 place services offer children aged 2.5 years to 5 years play based learning from 8.30am to 3.30pm, 5 days per week.

Meerilinga is offering a Traineeship Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care through Meerilinga Training College. The position will offer a minimum of 15 hours a week however candidates must be able to work up to 32.5 hours.

Our selection requirements:

• Certificate 3 of Education and Care
• Working with Children Check (WWC)
• Are passionate in working with children and supporting families
• Are able to work as part of a quality organisation
• Are reliable, flexible and have a professional standard of presentation and attitude
• Able to manage and balance work with study and commit personal time for extended study and assessment activities
• Technology skills
• National Police Clearance

Salary and conditions are in accordance with the Children’s Services Award 2018, Meerilinga Flexibility Agreement and Traineeship Terms and Conditions.
