A Day in the Life

Reporting to the ANZ Training and Education Director, the Training & Education Program Manager will focus on the creation and project management of education events in the professional learning ANZ and APAC teams. Within this role, you will manage Medtronic customer requirements to identify and streamline processes in event registration and management, and you will be responsible for the management of the APAC Talent X program.

In addition, you will build close collaboration and working alignment across multiple teams including Professional Learning, Learning & Development, and project manager/commercial teams across APAC and ANZ as well as Leadership communication for key projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management for Talent X: planning, monitoring, tracking and/or prioritizing the different Talent X projects (30%)
  
  • Support of Talent X project managers to manage project plans, resourcing, status reporting, resolving issues, identifying project risks and accountability for deliverables.
  • Responsibility for project tracking, risk management, administration, financial management, and issue resolution. Analyze metrics and data to help drive Talent X initiatives and outcomes.
  • Liaise with each Talent X project manager to drive process improvement. Oversees effectiveness of the different projects and establish standards
  • Drive best practices and ensure consistent principles and positioning between the different programs.
  • Establish with project sponsors clear direction and objectives for Talent X project teams to drive stated objectives and goals. Works in close partnership with key stakeholders (e.g., leadership teams across regions, GTLD) to ensure that internal issues are addressed, and new and improved programs and processes are implemented to meet objectives of Talent X.
• Process/project management of key professional learning projects (70%)
  • Working with the relevant professional learning stakeholders, help to identify key steps in program and education delivery to establish clear processes and project/event management such as
  • Simplified registration process and communication touchpoints for administration support implementation
  • Use and promotion of project management platforms and dashboards for status updates
  • Identify key communication/engagement gaps and optimal touchpoints in education programs
  • Partner with IT to tailor event management systems to APAC/ANZ requirements and train other key stakeholders when launched
  • Development of resources to highlight education & processes
  • Establish methods for continuous program improvements
• Align with APAC and ANZ teams for consistent delivery, process/project management and outcomes reporting
• Approach improvements with commercial effectiveness mindset to identify needs, shape solutions, validate and deploy with cross functional teams.
