As Clinical Education Specialist, you will be responsible to develop, directing, and executing the Training and Education programs aligned with corporate strategies in the region.
This includes, but is not limited to Clinical Immersion Programs (preceptor and proctorship), peer to peer educational programs, fellows and residents training programs, professional society education events etc.
You will be required to establish key relationships with Healthcare Professionals (Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), Residents, Fellows, etc.) and professional societies to coordinate all education and training activities and promote the safe and effective use of Medtronic neurovascular products.

In collaboration with the Training & Education Manager, you will be expected to recommend and improve all educational programs based on measurable metrics and evaluations.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring all training programs meet with and abide by all Corporate Compliance Guidelines, performing needs assessments with regional business units and responding to functional assignments as requested by Training & Education leadership.

A Day in the Life

In collaboration with the West European Training & Education Manager, the West European marketing and country commercial teams, you will develop and drive the Neuro Vascular Education strategies to meet company objectives. Additionally, you will coordinate and manage all educational and training activities, inclusive of participant and faculty selection criteria, and supervision of budget allocation for such activities.
Furthermore, you will establish key strategic partnerships with program faculty, product champions and Key Opinion Leaders to enhance the quality of Professional Affairs initiatives and Clinical Education Programs. We expect you to understand and ensure compliance with regulatory policies and procedures relating to education programs.
You will coordinate or supervise arrangements/logistics for education programs to include products, facilities, materials, etc.
Thanks to your communication skills, you are expected to establish solid relationships with the marketing team to enhance regional objectives.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Adhere to corporate compliance policy.
• Develop and supervise a process to measure the effectiveness of all training programs.
• Manage educational programs to be best in class and contribute to the company’s branding efforts.
• Develop & nurture key opinion leader relationships on local and regional levels.
• Pursue the highest standards of support and service to exceed customer expectations.
• Complete all necessary area documentation, tracking reports, and management of budgets.
• Establish and maintain close working relationships and strategic alliances with third-party partners to assist our educational endeavours.
• Enhance therapy knowledge base by the increased presence in catheterization labs and/or therapy-specific venues.
• You will be required to attend all W EU congresses to continuously be up to date on the new technologies/procedural approaches/changes in the NV field.

• You are in possession of a Bachelor’s degree.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of health care industry experience of which 3 years is in the Neuro Vascular industry, either in sales, marketing, clinical affairs or medical or clinical education.
• You have experience in physician customer interfacing role for at least 3 years.
• You have a good ability to meet deadlines, good interpersonal skills, ability to handle multiple, complex tasks, ability to maintain composure under pressure.
• You have strong analytical skills and a professional presence.
• Fluency to read, write and converse in English is required.

Nice to Have

• Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong presentation skills.
• Knowledge of the customers, knowledge of Neurovascular space, Exposure to key customers and opinion leaders.
