Job Title: Payment Posting/Medical Billing Specialist

Medstat Inc. [a Credence Global Solutions company] has 4 openings for the position of Payment Posting/Charge Entry Specialist, at our Mesa, AZ location.

*Requirement*:

1. Completes payment entry in a timely and accurate manner including:

o Posts payments to system (live checks, Online Credit Card payments).

o Records batch totals.

o Balances batches.

o Verifies all EFT deposits and scanned checks have been posted by month end.

2. Properly communicates and documents payment denials in the practice management system and to the appropriate billing representative in a timely manner.

3. Identifies and communicates any payments not being paid at the allowed/contracted amount

Education, Experience, and Certification/Licensure Required:

 High School Diploma or equivalent required.

 Medical billing experience required.

 Candidates must be able to work with high volume of work while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills.

 Computer skills required to operate practice management system (i.e., use Window operating system, conduct Internet searches, communicate by email, etc.)

* Looking for candidates who stay within a 15 mile radius from our office – 4022 East Presidio, Mesa, AZ 85215.
