Job Summary
Creates, leads and supervises a high performing, customer and new hire-centric onboarding team in support of MedStar Health’s talent acquisition strategy. Manages the onboarding strategies and processes and drives continuous process improvement. Serves as the primary point of contact and collaborates with internal stakeholders to deliver a best in class new hire onboarding experience. Manages vendor relationships associated with the onboarding function. Ensures all new hire documentation meets Federal, State and local regulatory and collective bargaining unit requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or related field.
Experience
10 years progressive strategic and operational talent acquisition experience. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred.
License/Certification/Registration
SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Demonstrated ability to manage projects in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. Must possess attention to detail and analytical skills with demonstrated commitment to data integrity and regulatory compliance. Proven success working in a talent acquisition function using data, metrics, process improvement and team motivation. Proactive and solutions-oriented; responsive and service oriented. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication skills. Must be self-motivated, collaborative, resilient and willing to continually drive process improvements.
