The Role

Medline APAC is entering an exciting new era in their Information and technology landscape and are looking for an experienced Regional Leader to join. This critical role will be responsible for overseeing everything from Infrastructure, Applications and centralized services across the Asia Pacific region including Australia, Japan and South East Asia so that IT continues to meet the evolving needs and growth objectives of the businesses. A partner to the APAC President and the Country based Managing Directors, this role will work closely with this Leadership team to shape the future of Medline’s IT landscape.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy for the region, aligned with global IT strategies and regional business objectives. Provide strategic leadership, make critical decisions, and allocate resources to execute and drive the successful implementation of the strategy while monitoring its progress and adapting as needed.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure across the region, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Manage the portfolio of applications used across the region, ensuring they meet business needs and are kept up to date.
• Oversee the delivery of centralized IT services to the APAC countries, ensuring they are delivered efficiently and effectively.
• Coach, mentor and lead a large and diverse team across multiple countries providing guidance, feedback, role clarity and opportunities for growth whilst holding employees accountable for their performance and behavior.

The Regional IT Director can be based in Australia, Japan or Asia and will require international travel and working hours across a variety of time zones.

• In-depth knowledge of applications architecture, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity practices

• Exceptional communicator, translating technical solutions for business stakeholders to build trust, advocacy and support
