Medix Infusion is an efficient, technology-enabled, healthcare platform, highly focused on improving patient care and access to infusion therapies, disease management and infusion pharmacy services for chronic and acutely ill patients in underserved communities.

We are seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner at our Bend Oregon, area.

Responsibilities:

Manage and work along side clinical team in Infusion Suite

Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care

Administer infusion medicines

Assesses patient compliance with medications, treatments and appointments.

Demonstrates competency in the performance of simple and complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as venipuncture, administration of IV fluids, care of vascular access devices, and de-clotting of lines.

Documents the interventions and outcomes of the care plan in the medical record.

Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Administer infusion medicines
Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• At least three years experience as a Licensed Pratical Nurse is required.
• Demonstrated competency in patient assessment skills, venous access skills, and emergency patient care.
• Demonstrated knowledge of infection prevention and patient safety protocols.
• Knowledge of PICC line management is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are required.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule depending on the needs of the patients.
• Graduate of accredited school of nursing is required.
• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license in Oregon is required.
• BCLS required within the first three months of hire.
• Must be comfortable with EMR.
