ABOUT OUR CLIENT / ABOUT THIS ROLE

Medix is currently seeking an ERP Business Analyst for an exciting long-term (24 + month) contract position with one of our wholesale distribution clients. This role is 100% remote in the US.

Our client is in the process of implementing a new ERP platform designed for Accounting, Financials and Inventory Management. They are seeking a Business Analyst to join their team in capturing requirements from the business, and helping to build out the business logic for the platform

A minimum of 3-5 years professional experience is required, with a minimum of 3 years dedicated to ERP Systems (financial and accounting) Preference will be given towards individuals who have worked in the Wholesale & Distribution Industry before.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Working with a team to capture and document processes and functional specs for an ERP Platform designed for Accounting, Finance and Inventory within the wholesale distribution industry. (Relevant platforms might include Epicor, Sage, Infor, ePROMIS, Netsuite, Acumatica, Deltek, etc)
• Working with Business Stakeholders across the business (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Order Management) to help define the business processes and workflows for the new ERP System
• Documenting business rules and workflows for the system based on the integrated core business processes
• Visualizing business requirements in alternate formats, using tools like Excel, Visio and Tableau.
• Conducting gap analysis to identity inefficiencies in the process flows, and /or system gaps
• Tracking the progress and completion of plugging the systems gaps identified.
• Aiding in the creation of validation test scenarios to ensure the ERP system achieves expected business goals
• Aiding in the creation of user guides and training materials.
• Hosting business process workshops with stakeholders, and demo-ing product designs for feedback.
• Utilizing a variety of tools and methods to simulate the new system functionality.
• Providing the business expertise to understand how the ERP platform interacts and depends on other platforms

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Required Bachelor Degree
• Required 3-5 years of Professional work experience
• Required 3+ years as an Analyst, developing the business logic for a major ERP Platform
• Required 3 + years of Financial ERP Experience
• Strong requirements visualization experience using Visio, LucidChart, Gliffy, Tableau, etc.
• Ability to type 60+ WPM
• Wholesale Distribution Industry experience is highly preferred.
• Enterprise company experience (10,000+ employees) preferred
