About the role:

Supporting a multi-year Defence program to deliver an enterprise Health Knowledge Management System, as a Senior Software Engineer you will help shape how we design and develop our cloud based applications.

Duties & responsibilities; Note: Duties will vary depending on whether you’re a React, Java or Full Stack Dev:

• Developing front end website architecture.
• Designing user interactions on web pages.
• Developing backend website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Working alongside UI/UX designers for web design features.
• Seeing through a project from conception to finished product.

Technical knowledge; Note: Tech skills required will vary depending on whether you’re a React, Java or Full Stack Dev:

• 6-8+ years of experience working with Spring Boot framework & Spring Boot cloud
• 3-4+ years of experience working with React
• Experience in Integration with RESTful API & API Contract design
• Proficient knowledge in HTML5, Bootstrap, CSS3, Node.js
• Familiar with PWA, asset loading/caching, cookies, headers
• Unit testing (Mocha/Jasmine/Jest)
• Sound experience working databases – Tools & languages
• Hands on experience with AWS, VPC, EC2, S3, ELB
• Experience with CI/ CD environment and platforms
